Lots de 355 à 360 Francesca WOODMAN Collection Paula Anderson Gordon Alors toutes deux étudiantes à la Rhode Island School of Design à Providence, Francesca Woodman et Paula Anderson Gordon sont également voisines d’ateliers à la Pilgrim Mills Factory, située non loin de l’école. Elles se photographient mutuellement à plusieurs reprises et Francesca encourage Paula à utiliser le médium dans son travail d’artiste. Quelques années plus tard, durant son séjour en Italie, Francesca Woodman envoie à sa camarade les deux épreuves et les quatre planches-contacts de leur séance de prise de vue à Providence. “I think of myself a placid soul but other people must think of me as a den of snake at least for untrustworthy slitheryness.
